THE PRESIDENT’S CHARITIES FOUNDATION INCORPORATED
The President’s Charities Foundation Incorporated is a registered non profit organization founded by His Excellency Dr. Nicholas J.O. Liverpool, former President of the Commonwealth of Dominica, with it prime purpose to raise funds for distribution among charitable organizations in society. The Foundation was formally incorporated in July 2006.
From the year 2004, the Foundation has been involved in the hosting of the President’s Charities Fundraising Dinner and Dance. The dinner and dance, an annual grand event, is held to raise funds for constructive and worthwhile social and community-oriented projects and organizations or individuals throughout Dominica. These organizations or individuals do charitable work aimed at raising the well-being, wellness and quality of life of a significant number of people.
Over Eighteen (18) Organizations have in the past been beneficiaries of donations from the Foundation, to include the Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities, Reaching Elderly Abandoned Citizens Housebound (REACH), The Dominica Infirmary, Operation Youth Quake, Grotto Home for the Homeless, Workshop for the Blind, Care of the Elderly in Portsmouth, to name just a few.
Our Yearly Presentation Ceremony
In November of every year, a Presentation Ceremony is hosted by the Foundation to present cash donations to the under-mentioned charitable Institutions, from the proceeds of the Annual President’s Charities Dinner.

- Lupus Foundation of Dominica receive donations during His Excellency’s Annual Christmas Visits during the month of November and early December.
In addition, every year on a geographical basis, the President’s Charities Foundation hosts a Christmas Party for underprivileged primary school children between the ages of 5 and 12 years. The aim of the Christmas Party is to enhance the well-being and joy of our less fortunate junior brothers and sisters during the Christmas Season.
